Nothing Ever Changes

A short animation

After grabbing a piece of chocolate and a cigarette, Meursault goes to his balcony and spends all afternoon observing the passerby below. Nothing had changes, he thinks. His mom has just died, and the world keeps revolving. Maybe there is no purpose. Maybe there is no goal. The absurdist mindset is further represented through the eternal looping of video, and nothing changes with each iteration.
